Ellips was founded in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, in 1989 by a team of software engineers, and develops optical grading technology for fruit and vegetables. Its grading machines are built under the Elisam brand, set up with Ellips in Italy in 2010, and grade potatoes, onions and fruit by size, shape and external and internal defects.
