Raytec Vision was founded in 2001 in Parma, Italy, by Raffaele Pezzoli and Claudio Quarantelli to apply optical vision and X-ray inspection to food safety, and is part of the CFT Group. It makes optical sorters for fresh and processed fruit and vegetables, potatoes, nuts and dried products, from belt and roller sorters to chute sorters and X-ray inspection machines.
