Anuga FoodTec India 2026, the show's 20th edition, took place in Mumbai
Anuga FoodTec India 2026 ran 29 September to 1 October at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, alongside Anuga Select India. Here is what the organiser said.

The 20th edition of Anuga FoodTec India, a trade fair for food processing and packaging technology, ran from 29 September to 1 October 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. It was organised by Koelnmesse Pvt. Ltd. and co-located with the 19th edition of Anuga Select India, a show for finished food and beverage products.
What was on the floor?
According to the organiser, Anuga FoodTec India covers processing machinery and automation, packaging technology and materials, food safety and quality control systems, and cold chain and storage solutions. Its hall plan put food and beverage processing in Halls 2 and 3 and food and beverage packaging in Halls 4 and 5. The organiser's press release said the show had country pavilions from Italy and China. It also listed processing and packaging technology brands from markets including Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Belgium, Iran and the UAE.
How big was it?
In a press release dated 18 September 2026, the organiser said the two co-located shows together would bring more than 1,100 exhibitors from over 32 countries, with an expected 45,000-plus trade visitors. It described this as the strongest international participation the events have recorded. These are the organiser's own figures, published before the show opened.
Who took part?
The release named the European Union as Official Partner Region at Anuga Select India. It said the inauguration on 29 September was to be attended by government representatives from Germany and the Netherlands. It also said the 2026 edition was supported by India's Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI).
When was it open?
The organiser listed trade visitor hours as 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on 29 and 30 September. On 1 October the hours were 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., and visitor registration closed at 4.00 p.m. The organiser's facts page listed access as trade visitors only. Our event listing has the venue details.
