Who exhibits
The 2026 edition had 770+ exhibitors: 534 from Russia, including 298 Russian manufacturers, and 238 from abroad. China and Türkiye ran national pavilions. Twelve Russian regions had their own pavilions. The organiser lists exhibitors from 19 countries: Austria, Belarus, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand and Türkiye.
The show was a little smaller in 2026 than in 2025, when the organiser counted 850+ exhibitors from 22 countries.
Most foreign exhibitors come from China. This is our count of the foreign exhibitor index in the 2026 official catalogue:
- China
- 152
- Türkiye
- 25
- Italy
- 18
- Germany
- 5
- Belarus
- 4
- India
- 4
- France
- 2
Our count of the 2026 official catalogue's foreign exhibitor index. Ten more countries had one exhibitor each: Austria, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, South Korea, Spain and Switzerland.
For a machinery or ingredient company from Europe, Asia or the Middle East, the gap is plain: outside China, few foreign makers come to Moscow in person.

Want these buyers at your stand at Agroprodmash 2027?
Tell us what you needWhy Russia buys food equipment from abroad
The organiser publishes a page of facts about the Russian market. In its words, Russia's food industry has 43,263 enterprises, and a large share of its equipment is imported in some segments:
- Meat and poultry
- 94%
- Fat and oil
- 90%
- Sugar
- 81%
- Packing and weighing
- 79%
- Dairy
- 70%
From the organiser's page '5 facts about the Russian market you should know', read 22 October 2026.
The same page says many types of equipment are exempt from import duty, and duty on component parts is up to 10% of customs value. It also notes that small and mid-size Russian plants often buy more affordable equipment with lower capacities. These are the organiser's statements; check duty and certification rules for your own product with a customs broker before you quote a Russian buyer.
How to exhibit
- Apply to the organiser. Expocentre takes applications online on the official site. On 22 October 2026 the participants page listed the application form for Agroprodmash 2027.
- Read the terms. Stand prices are not on the website. They are in the organiser's General Terms of Participation, with the exhibitor manual. Ask the organiser for the current terms.
- Use the exhibitor account. Once you apply, the organiser's exhibitor account handles forms, passes, catalogue entries and services.
- Plan freight early. The organiser names an officially recommended forwarder for delivering exhibits to Crocus Expo.
- Get into the catalogue and MatchMaking. Exhibitors who send their catalogue entry in time get access to the MatchMaking system before the show.
A rough timeline for a first-time exhibitor in 2027:
- Now to March 2027: decide, apply and choose your stand.
- April to June 2027: catalogue entry, stand design, Russian-language brochures, and the paperwork your product needs to enter Russia.
- July to August 2027: ship exhibits, set meetings through MatchMaking, invite buyers.
- 23 to 27 September: stand build-up at Crocus Expo, per the organiser's participants page (check the 2027 dates in the exhibitor manual).
- After the show: follow up within ten days while buyers still remember your stand.
How to visit
- Ticket: register online with your email on the official site. You get an e-ticket with a barcode, which you swap for a badge at registration.
- Meetings: once registered, you can open the MatchMaking system, see who is exhibiting and book meetings before you travel.
- Hours: 10:00 to 18:00, and 10:00 to 16:00 on the last day, per the organiser's visitor page.
- Getting there: take the metro to Myakinino station (Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line) and use the exit to the Crocus Expo pavilions. By car, Crocus Expo is where the MKAD ring road meets Volokolamsk Highway, per the organiser. Agroprodmash is in Pavilion 3. Allow time to walk between halls 13, 14, 15 and 18.
- Hotels: the organiser's site lists hotel and transfer services for visitors.
Agroprodmash, Prodexpo or WorldFood Moscow?
Three big food shows use Crocus Expo, and their names are easy to mix up.
| Show | What it is about | 2027 dates | Organiser |
|---|---|---|---|
| Agroprodmash | Food processing equipment, packaging, technology, raw materials and ingredients | 28 Sep – 1 Oct 2027 | Expocentre |
| Prodexpo | Food and beverage products | 1–4 Mar 2027 | Expocentre |
| WorldFood Moscow | Food and beverage products | 14–17 Sep 2027 | ITE Group |
Dates from each show's official site, read 22 October 2026. All three are at Crocus Expo.
If you make machines, ingredients or packaging, Agroprodmash is your show. If you sell finished food, look at Prodexpo or WorldFood Moscow. WorldFood Moscow ends two weeks before Agroprodmash opens, so a company that sells both food and ingredients can plan one trip with a gap, or two trips.
Plan your show: before, during and after
Before
- Decide your goal. Buyers for machines, distributors, ingredient contracts, or a first look at the market.
- Prepare in Russian. Price lists, brochures and a one-page product sheet in Russian get read; English-only material often does not.
- Check your product's paperwork. Food equipment and ingredients sold into Russia need the right certificates and labels. Sort this out before you promise delivery dates.
- Book meetings through MatchMaking two to four weeks ahead. With four days and four halls, walk-ins alone will not fill your diary.
During
- Start in the hall that matches your product, then walk the halls of your buyers' sectors.
- Ask every buyer the same questions: plant size, current machines, budget, delivery terms and who signs.
- Note who visited the Chinese and Turkish pavilions. They are your competition on price.
After
- Follow up within ten days with a quote, samples or a video of the machine running.
- Keep a short record per lead, so the next show starts warm.
For buyers looking for suppliers
